Meet the knitters behind Mako Hand Knits. Originally from Tokyo, Japan sisters Mako (mah-koh) and Yoko (yo-koh) have called Portland, OR home for over 40 years. They have loved making things by hand since they were children—a passion that was passed down from their grandmother and mother who taught them how to knit and sew.
